I've been visiting family from out of state and have come here and just love it! The atmosphere is very relaxed, staff is very friendly, and food is great!
The place has new owners but the product is still excellent. Lots of good bagel options in Gainesville and this should be on everyone's list. A toasted ET bagel with fried egg (not nuked), cheese and a meat choice plus potatoes and fruit with coffee. What's not to like. Please give Bageland a try and you will be pleased.

We loved our first visit to Bageland! What a wonderful vibe...prompt, friendly counter service & laid back diner/cafe vibe. They had croissants too...although we had bagels. I love pumpernickel and couldn't pass up a breakfast sandwich made with one! So yummy. The pics speak for themselves! We will be back for sure!
We just had a dozen bagels from Bageland! All different flavors! Couldn't tell you which one I liked the best! Wonderful flavors and authentic NYC style! Delicious! fresh or toasted! I'm from NYC and I loved them! I loved them all!
This place is not very fancy, but it looked clean. Food and prices were excellent. For the next time I go, well, of course I'm going to come back; I plan to order a breakfast for my husband and myself, since they serve a lot.
